A Big Step for Road Safety from Mesarya Municipality
The Dörtyol-Türkmenköy Hard Shoulder Arrangement Works Are Completed
Latif: “We care about traffic and road safety.”
Mesarya Municipality has completed another important project in order to increase road safety and provide the best service to citizens.
The approximately 6-kilometer dangerous hard shoulder area extending from the Gazimağusa-Dörtyol roundabout to the İnönü-Türkmenköy secondary road has been arranged in both directions.
Within this scope, the roadsides in the region were made safe with air casting, filling and rolling processes.
Mesarya Mayor Ahmet Latif stated that they care about traffic and road safety and emphasized that they have eliminated a problem that was a serious complaint.
Latif said the following:
“I wish this work to be beneficial for our people and I hope that the road will be used on accident-free and safe days.
We completed the entire work with the resources of our municipality and the efforts of our municipality personnel.
I would also like to thank all municipality personnel who contributed for their devoted work.
As Mesarya Municipality, we will continue to work non-stop for safe and comfortable transportation.”
