Girne Municipality Has 3 Choirs In 3 Age Groups

Girne Municipality continues to innovate in the field of culture and arts. Following auditions, the Children’s Choir, consisting of children aged 9-11, and the Youth Choir, comprising youths aged 12-17, have started their activities alongside the Adult Polyphonic Choir.  The choir sessions, which began at the Girne Municipality New Service Building in the Glass Hall of the Cultural Centre, are being conducted under the management of a team consisting entirely of volunteers.

The Girne Municipality Polyphonic Choir, under the direction of Choir Conductor Yılmaz Taner, continues its work with trainers Rüyam Tokatlıoğlu, Buket Aknar, and Tienşan Çaydamlı, pianist Mistral Çaydamlı, and Vocal Coach Umut Cem Erten.
